Feeling Gnarly 'The Morning After the Night Before?'

Did you have one too many last night? Do feel like dirt today?

Beyond the queasiness, dehydration and headache from too much alcohol, do you suffer from a little anxiety and guilt?  (don't remember what you might have said or done?)   No little pill for that, is there, Yo?

... or maybe you figure everyone will just forgive you for acting like an ass. They probably will to a degree - especially if they are drunks themselves.  It wears thin after awhile though, believe me.

However, sometime for an experiment if you can do it, go to a bar or party and stay sober.  Watch the drunks.  After a few they are all bubbly and charming, right?  Funny guy that dude.

After 'one too many' they are pretty obnoxious a lot of the time.  They make jokes that aren't funny really; they may even get belligerent - if there was ever a 'truth serum' it must be related chemically to too much booze.

The worst time to drink is when you have problems - if they are problems that make you sad, you will get more sad.  If you are mad, you will get more mad.

Alcohol really does reduce inhibitions and that is why we have so much fun - at first - 'let it all hang out', 'get down', etc. etc.  However when you take the scenario of anger and controlling it, you need some inhibitions.

Particularly if you have 'anger management' problems anyway, there is no telling what you might do that you will regret when you sober up.

Remember that if you are repeating the scenario with friends and loved ones of getting drunk and being abusive and then being all sorry and penitent the next day - after awhile it is rather hollow.

If you were REALLY sorry, you wouldn't do it AGAIN.  So get REAL.

You just need help - and it is definitely 'self-help' - but you can get assistance with that - take a course in how you can psyche yourself up to get past your DEVIL - get on a health regimen with your diet and exercise.  You will find that if you replace that urge to drink with something healthier that the urge will get less.  You will 'DRY OUT'.

We all have the capacity to be both good and evil.  It is a constant battle between the two.  The one that wins is the one you feed...

... but don't take it from me - take a minute to see what the professionals have to say about how you can get help today!
